Carrie Hurihanganui
Chief Executive, Auckland Airport
Carrie Hurihanganui has been Chief Executive of Auckland Airport since February 2022. Prior to joining Auckland Airport, Carrie was Chief Operating Officer at Air New Zealand, overseeing a global workforce of >9,000 across 16 countries at its peak.
Carrie has over 22 years of operational and strategic experience in the aviation industry, having held several senior roles at Air New Zealand, leading customer experience transformation, maximising business growth and building high performing and engaged teams.
She left the airline in 2017 to join National Australia Bank (NAB) based in Melbourne as Executive General Manager Customer Experience before returning in 2018 to the Chief Ground Operations Officer role, before transitioning into the Chief Operating Officer role in 2020.
Carrie is passionate about building a better future grounded in purpose and people. She has a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University and has completed a number of advanced programmes of study, including INSEAD and Harvard.
Maurice Riley
Chief Data Officer, Publicis Groupe Australia and New Zealand
Maurice, the Chief Data Officer for Publicis Groupe in Australia and New Zealand, has led innovation in the data and marketing technology landscapes for over 25 years.
Driven by passion, he deftly connects data-driven creativity with technology, serving marketing titans like Pfizer, P&G, ALDI, and Toyota. His early innovations include the pioneering 1-to-1 marketing approaches in New York at Nielsen and spearheading the creation of PRIZM-TV consumer segmentation solution. Maurice’s leadership extended to leading data and analytics teams at Digitas and digital strategy teams at Publicis New York. Recognised globally, for his data solutions zeal, Maurice has served on many awards juries and presided as president over the Creative Data Cannes Lions Jury as well as being known for insightful contributions like his piece on data ethics and AI.
Scott Tasker
Chief Customer Officer, BSc (Technology), Auckland Airport
Scott Tasker leads Auckland Airport’s aeronautical commercial team, focusing on sustainably growing our airline capacity, improving route connectivity and increasing passenger volumes.Scott has more than 20 years’ experience in the travel industry, both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, and has held a number of roles in airline sales, marketing and management with Emirates and Lufthansa.
Prior to joining Auckland Airport, Scott held leadership positions in the travel insurance industry with Cover-More Travel Insurance and the Healix Assistance Group. He joined Auckland Airport in February 2015
Andrew Waddel
General Manager Australia, Tourism New Zealand
Andrew Waddel is a seasoned marketing professional who took up the role of General Manager - Australia at Tourism New Zealand in 2018. His diverse career journey has equipped him with a wealth of marketing and business experience in various industries.
Before joining Tourism New Zealand, Andrew made significant contributions to the organic syrup manufacturing sector at Soda Press Co. Prior to that, he founded his own consultancy, Freewheelers & Co., showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit. Notably, he served as the Marketing Director at Red Bull Australia, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies for renowned brands such as Stella Artois, Beck’s, and Red Bull.
Andrew's extensive marketing expertise extends beyond borders, having garnered international leadership experience across the UK, South Africa, and Australian markets. His comprehensive understanding of consumer needs and brand development has made him a strong advocate for these principles in his current role at Tourism New Zealand.
Born in Wellington, Andrew Waddel pursued his passion for marketing by studying the subject at the University of Otago. A true brand marketer by trade, he continues to bring his innovative and strategic mindset to the forefront, leading New Zealand's largest tourism market. With a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of the intricacies of the industry, Andrew Waddel is driving Tourism New Zealand's success in the competitive Australian market.

Annie Dundas is Director Destination at Tātaki Auckland Unlimited (TAU), the region’s economic and cultural agency. In her role, she leads the major events, business events and tourism teams responsible for the attraction of major and business events, destination marketing of Auckland as part of the Destination Partnership Programme and the management of Auckland as a visitor destination. Prior to joining Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, Annie was the General Manager: Tourism for Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Whai Rawa and before that, General Manager of Hawke’s Bay Tourism for eight years. Annie also had a long tenure at Tourism New Zealand – her last role as Regional Manager North America.
Jacqui Lloyd
CEO, New Zealand Cruise Association
Jacqui has a wealth of experience in destination management and marketing from holding senior roles with Tourism New Zealand, Tourism Auckland, Tourism Holdings Limited, Adelaide Convention Bureau and most recently leading Destination Marlborough - the regional tourism organsiation for the Marlborough region.
As the current CEO of the New Zealand Cruise Association, she advocates for and promotes New Zealand as a cruise destination, while also leading the development and implementation of the National Cruise Strategy, driving initiatives that contribute to the growth and sustainability of the country's cruise industry.
